 Ningxia Red... Same as the New BYJ but with different packaging NingXia Wolfberries: The benefits of the whole fruit are so exceptional; we now have the whole pureed berry in the juice with the complete nutrient profile. Wolfberries are known to support: Immunity, Longevity, Stamina, and Energy. In the reformulation of Berry Young Juice, one of the main goals was to maintain and improve the ORAC rating. When looking at ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity), the SOD (Super Oxide Dismutase) activity or S-ORAC score is even more important than the ORAC score for a food. It came back with an S-ORAC value of 365 per oz. WOW! The corporate staff at Young Living thought that this must be an error, so they sent another sample, which came back with the same score. When they sent a third sample, it came back the same-365/oz.-and Brunswick Labs told them that they were willing to stand behind their testing. (They did not have to continue sending samples!) This score equates to 12,500 S-ORAC units per liter, which in unlike anything else available in today's market. This product offers improved energy, stamina and longevity. In a study, when participants consumed whole wolfberries, after a short time, S-ORAC was measured in blood and there was an increase of 40 per cent of the body's ability to combat free radicals. NingXia Red is over 50 per cent wolfberries. There are other products out there with wolfberries, but none of them come even close in testing. This may be because they are reconstituted from powder, rather than the fresh pureed fruit as is used in NingXia Red. The process we use protects the nutrients and starts with our producer in China. We went through several bottlers who wanted to produce our product and they failed time and time again to give us the product quality we wanted. When we found someone who we could trust, Sue Chao spent several weeks with them to insure our quality. ORAC and S-ORAC is monitored on a regular basis. Each and every batch is verified. Long chain polysaccharides, unique to wolfberries, are responsible for the immunity benefit, which can be damaged by too much disruption during the production of the product. Our technique for processing protects this valuable nutrient. Other antioxidants are found in NingXia Red.
