MY STORY--FINDING THE YOUNG LIVING OILS

In 1993, I was told by two MD's that there was nothing more that they could do for me. My immune system was nonexistent. They started telling me I had no killer T cells, no phagocytes, no this and no that (I kinda tuned them out about then...). The bottom line was that after being hospitalized three times in the past eleven months for viral pneumonia, they determined that the only thing that would keep me alive would be massive antibiotics on a constant basis. WELL! I had already been on antibiotics on a constant basis for about three years. (I didn't know at the time that antibiotics are immune suppressants!) And I continued to feel worse and worse and was ALWAYS sick! There HAD to be SOMETHING to make it stop.

I went into a Health Food Store and used herbs and homeopathics for the next three years. I was able to get off all the toxic prescriptions and I didn't get any worse. In fact, I was not hospitalized again. But I was still always sick, one infection after another (sinus, eye, ear, lung, bronchial, etc...). One day a friend saw me and said I HAD to DO something! She hauled me off to a woman who had some Young Living essential oils. I was just too sick and tired to argue. Well, that woman applied Thieves, peppermint and maybe some other oils, and within 10 minutes, I was able to breathe out of both of my nostrils for the first time in YEARS. I took some oils home with me and continued to improve...the mucus was no longer colored! The pressure in my sinuses was gone! I could breathe. I could sleep.

I was still very skeptical. The use of essential oils was a huge paradigm shift for me. In my former life, I believed this sort of thing was WAY out there! AND if they really worked, why didn't everyone know about them? Why didn't everyone use them? And is this brand really the only one I could get that really worked? Well, Young Living essential oils really do work, and I didn't know about them because no one had ever told me about them. I want everyone to know about them!

I studied, experimented, read and attended meetings. In those days, we didn't have our wonderful EODR. After spending lots of money on other brands, I learned that Young Living Oils really were the only ones that worked for me! They really did! I learned that essential oils are the volatile liquids that are distilled from various parts of plants, including seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers and fruit. I learned about the proper way essential oils should be distilled in order to retain their therapeutic molecules. I learned that the reason that I did not improve substantially with herbs was that the oils are 20 (or more) times stronger that the dried herbs (the life's blood--oil--of the plant having been removed). Therefore, one drop of oil was much more effective against my infections than a whole bottle of capsules from the health food store.

Now, if I catch a "bug", I am recovered in 20 minutes to 4 hours (depending on how fast I get to my oils and apply them aggressively. Young Living oils have also saved me thousands of $ compared to the price of those prescription drugs that were killing me.
